This genuinely makes me angry. Quit the patronising talk to the sweet innocent girl you're projecting onto me. I don't need you to explain Islam to me, I don't need your protection, nor your hate.
Hating back is the easy option, that should be obvious to you. I grew up in a very white environment, and the few muslims I know are cool people, so I have never been discriminated by any muslim. But I have had the lovely experience of being discriminated by other groups, notably white guys, and I know very well how tempting it is to start hating the whole lot of them in general, and how and why you should rise above that. I resent your misguided idea of me as a precious little girl who doesn't hate back because it's easier for me, or out of peer pressure.
The majority of muslims don't want me dead. Many forms of organised Islam and other religions do; **** that. But the people who adhere to that are brainwashed. The way to deal with brainwashed people is not stooping to their level, it's reaching out to them. Unless they're diehard psychos, but those people are exceptions.
