They do, mostly, but a lot of the material on the likes of
Even in the Quietest Moments, Crisis? What Crisis? and even
Breakfast in America is more in the line of progressive rock or pomp rock than pop. They have gained a reputation for pop songs with their hit singles, but there are some very deep and mature songs on their albums. If you're exploring, I'd avoid the first two albums as they're more blues/folk than anything, and begin with
Crime of the Century (1974) - 74 - 82 was their golden period, up to and including
Famous Last Words. Founder member Roger Hodgson's solo albums,
In the Eye of the Storm and
Hai Hai are also worth checking out.
