Love the song after hearing it on episode 2 of Zac Efron's down to earth show!

We checked how many tomorrows
we had left but, hesitant,
we lost our way on a path.
A stranger in the daily grind1
Fake smiles would do no good,
for (this relationship) was doomed from the start2.

Initially we were nothing.
Just a sketch or a drawing.
Dreams followed by trailing dots.
At street corners, a sweet scent,
supreme idyll, hand in hand,
nice pictures we remember.

Since we lose each other in order to better unite
Since we don't care about the present anymore
