I was thinking.... They should go ahead and lift the gun ban in Chicago.
Honestly it's not the ideal but there is no ideal in that city.
If you want gun control on that level you have to go all in which Americans won't do, you can't have it on a city level
Just makes it so certain citizens can't defend themselves with a gun legally. There's no lack of illegal guns for the gangs, they know how to go out of state etc. The average citizen is the one who is disarmed.
Really I think ideally guns should be banned but since we don't have it in us to do that at least we shouldn't disadvantage ordinary citizens living in a dangerous area for the sake of pretending to do something about a problem we have made 0 progress on.
