I went out there to donate a basket from Lemon lake on Saturday and so I met the director and got the nickel tour. They have a lot of work to do before the Aug 9th ribbon cutting by Paul McBeth but they have lots of help. This course will be on the same property as the new Obama Library out at Jackson Park, right next to the Jackson Park Community Farm where you can pick a snack to eat during your round, so thats a nice perk. I also noticed that the Jackson Park Inner Harbor is right there, so I figured conceivably you could take a boat from the Mississippi river and travel up the Illinois/Des Plaines River to the Chicago River where it lets out in Lake Michigan at the River Walk, then just scoot down south to the Jackson park Harbor, dock, cross the street and hit the course, then get back in your boat and head back to where ever it was you came from before it gets dark... hopefully.

I didn't die getting there, being there, or leaving from there, btw. Just don't try getting there from the expressway at night because of the areas you have to travel through just west of it. *shiver* At least you can tell the gang bangers and dealers by the way they drive five thousand miles an hour and don't follow traffic laws of any kind whatsoever. Look both ways even if you have the green. ****ers are crazy out there.

Gonna be a tough sell for a lot of reasons, but they're moving right along.
