Bumping this thread as I am currently exploring this band beyond the must-hear
Cure For Pain album. That album was such a big indie success in the '90s that even I heard of them.

That's a surprise, specially as it's the sax player that gives them their immediate trademark sound. His name is Dana Colley; the vocalist/ songwriter is Mark Sandman. Throw in a couple of different drummers and that's the trio that generates Morphine's surprisingly rounded-out sound.
I Know You is a kind of song cycle, spreadout, added to, across a couple of albums as M Sandman mulled it over in his mind I presume. Someone has very kindly put it into one youtube clip. It makes for a good place to start if anyone is new to this band:-
