Well, came to a frustrating and sad end here, went through about 60-70 per cent I guess. It was getting progressively more difficult but then I finally came to a level that was impossible to pass. Or my dexterity simply isn't sufficient or my controller is screwed, either way, after spending about 40 minutes trying to pass it, I thought it just wasn't worth the frustration. Adios Guacamelee! It was fun while it lasted.
Shame really.
