Not really.

I mean, I really loved the imagery. The movie itself is pretty psychedelic and immersive. And Bob Geldof was just perfect in the role, thank god it wasn't Roger Waters. Not that I have anything against him in particular, but it seems to me that his physique and acting chops wouldn't be on the level.
On the other hand I just can't stand that album. It just seems bland, pretentious and uninspired. Like if Waters had a really great idea for 3-4 songs and then had to put in 20 tracks off filler for some reason.
Like, wait another year dude, and come up with songs that are on par with Comfortably Numb, Another Brick in the Wall and Mother.

Also I just noticed that Goodbye Blue Sky sounds suspiciously similar to Ruby Tuesday. Not that it matters much.

So when watching this film I had this weird feeling of awe and annoyance at the same time.

But overall it was a very good experience.
The film kept me interested in what will come next for pretty much it's entire run, even though I find the last 20min or so disposable to say the least.

I probably won't be coming back to it any time soon, unless high
