Yeah it's not a case of interpretation. The movie was a minor footnote, the series something of a phenomenon. Mention BTVS to almost anyone and they're going to think you mean the series. Not a big deal; I'm just saying the immediate perception almost anyone would have is that you were talking about someone from the series. Luckily, no, and from the looks of it, another one who deserved to get it anyway.
