Goin Back incidentally was also recorded by Dusty Springfield and is about as good as the Byrds' version.
^ My sister bought the Dusty Springfield "Goin Back" single when I was 12 years old, so I learnt from her how good it was. I don't know which I loved more: the song, or the very first stirrings of nostalgia that it summoned up in my young heart. Let's face it, at age 12, there isn't really a lot of goin' back that you can do, but Goffin, King and Dusty sure knew how to find it.
