I was hoping for some feedback on the songs and albums I listed. (I'm even waiting on rubber soul's opinion of Deceptive Bends & the song Feel the Benefit) I wanted to hear some kind of opinion about their
magnum opus song, Not in Love. I don't know how this discourse turned into a referendum on my MIQ ((MIQ = Music IQ (fyi "IQ" = Intelligence Quotient)). I am still trying to figure that one out. ... not what IQ means but how the spotlight is turned on me and my music knowledge or the lack thereof it.
I've read some of the other posts and I gave this a lot of thought -- about how this amazing band was lost to time ... or location. I came to the realization that maybe it was all the fame and all the attention Aerosmith received that eclipsed any and all knowledge of 10cc in the Boston area. ... so in light of that fact I shall reproach myself for not treating MB members of the Boston area with kid gloves while discussing the subject of 10cc.
