Closer to easy listening or more modern?

It Had to Be You is a Isham Jones standard
that's often done in Bossa style, so I'm going for that as what you might've heard,
but, like Mas Que Nada it's done pretty often (again, a standard) and
could be a wide range of performers.

Thanks for replying mate. It was definitely more uptempo. Quite poppy too. The drum pattern and actual sound of the drumkit was very similar to Mas Que Nada.

Unfortunately it's not a rendition of the Isham Jones song, I did come across that while searching.

The accent might well have been Portuguese/Brazilian. Male singer (possibly singers...)

I might even pop into the Tesco tomorrow and ask for their current playlist lol. Desperate to find it, was/is an absolute tune.

Thanks again !!
