There's usually an exception, though I'm not sure I've found one for bagpipe music quite yet (which btw often sounds out of tune).

As someone who auto tunes things, most of it you probably don't hear. I agree it can be grating when you do hear it, though, like in all of Dwayne Johnson's singing in the movie Moana.
