Everything We Know About the 31 Patriot Front Members Arrested in a U-Haul
For years, members of the white nationalist group Patriot Front have mostly managed to keep their identities under wraps, concealing their faces in public and using aliases even when talking to each other online.
But now, the mask is off: Thirty-one members of the notoriously secretive, optics-obsessed group, including their leader, were arrested in Idaho over the weekend.
The group was traveling in the back of a U-Haul, apparently headed to downtown Coeur d’Alene where an annual LGBTQ Pride event (and a far-right counter-event) was underway, when they were intercepted by law enforcement. Police said the men had shields, flag poles, and a smoke grenade with them.
Mugshots and names of all 31 arrestees were released by the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office. They’re all white and male, per the group’s requirements, ranging in age from 20 to 40. They traveled from a dozen different states to be there; seven came from Texas, six from Utah, five from Washington.
Patriot Front’s alleged plot to interfere with the annual Pride event coincides with a surge in anti-LGBTQ and transphobic rhetoric coming from the mainstream GOP and domestic extremists alike.

The right is already calling it a false flag because of course they are.
I'm convinced they all know they're full of sh*t at this point, not only would they have to convince themselves that the federal government has it out for right wing groups rather than leftist ones despite all the evidence that says the exact opposite and many of them do have enough of a persecution complex to really believe that, and they really do think the government hates the right enough to attempt an elaborate false flag conspiracy, but
then they would also have to convince themselves that the right wouldn't do something like this despite constantly threatening to do it all the time and that's what I don't buy for even a split second.
They know this is who they are, the right pushes false flag accusations because it's part of the whole "hiding our power level" thing.
