Meh, seems to me that putting people down or disparaging them as not being as intelligent/switched-on as you because they listen to the music they like is, well, being a dick. Like others have said, let people listen to what they want to listen to. Not everyone is so deep into music as we are; some just listen to have something to dance to/on the car journey/relax to or whatever and don't really care whether it's popular or even good, or regarded as such, as long as they like it. Ain't nothing wrong with that.
