Yes, that's sad, Drive.
I remember Judith Durham, the personification of all that was wholesome, innocent and inoffensive in pop back in the old days.
I remember the songs you mention, particularly Georgy Girl. In it's way it was a forerunner, not musically, but because, before the entertainment industry had really got the whole spin-off, sequel, franchise thing down pat, - before that, Georgy Girl was a book, a movie and a hit single all at once. I remember reading the book because I was too young to get into the cinema to see the movie.

Song you didn't mention, Drive: the one about the sleepy train to morning town.
