Yeesh, was he dead or alive when that happened?
You'd think if the guy was eaten though they'd be able to find
something that would point to that. They haven't even found his gun or clothes.
If we're to stay completely grounded to reality, it seems like there was foul play here to me.
The other weird thing about this case is that the FBI got involved with it shortly after it happened, which is rather unusual for cases like these (unless a child disappeared or the disappearance happened on federal land). They apparently told his wife that they had some theories about what happened to him, but couldn't reveal much more. Bizarre.
