Uggh
I've been off work since Friday (staycation). I had plans to do things with the kids. First one kid got sick, then the other, than the missus. It looks like I'm next in line. Thankfully, it's not the 'vid.
It hasn't been all bad. I got to work on my long jump skills. The city has sent workers over to replace our sidewalks. Because we can't walk on wet cement, the neighbours and I had to find a way to avoid being trapped at home like Abe Simpson.
My guess is the sidewalk replacement is a case of "build it, they will come". Since my family has lived in this neighbourhood, the majority of pedestrians walk on the street. Nobody can explain why, not that it matters, unless someone gets hit by a car.
