[QUOTE=Saulaac;2217917]Yeah nice opening track. Funnily enough, I thought I had heard these sounds before, especially the first track of Keep dg-581, and then I remembered hearing "Perpetual (Movement)" from the 1980 Quark album a couple of years ago. What is that, a drop from the tonic down to the diminished 7th or something? Reminds me of many disco funk riffs I heard in clubs but never found out who played em.

Yes most the stuff I mentioned is in one way or another connected to Jun fukamachi. his solo stuff is great also.

fukamachi is a rabbit hole of musical exploration.

Jun Miyake is something you should check out. I received a tweet back from him regarding his 2 first albums that were ever only released once on LP and they both will be reissued soon on the 40th anniversary ...dive into his stuff. its all over the map , but his first 2 are like 80's supremo ,,he did not specify how they will be reissued but I'm hopping for a digital remaster release, I will buy the vinyl though if thats how they come.
