I unironically dig it though. Not great alone and not really an imaginative rework, but it's serviceable. I wouldn't call it hip pop though, not really any rap elements present, it's more in line with contemporary House/EDM's tendency to iterate on old songs and old ideas. Reminds me a lot of that recent rework of Nightcrawler's 'Push the Feeling On' (the MK remix of course), by Riton:
