For a very long time dismissed/I didn't care about this album, but then I got it.
And I got obsessed with it.
"I Don't Mind"
"It's Not True"
and
"La-la-la-lies"
I mean, it's basically a Rock'n'Roll record.
One of – if not – the first where band members tried to write original and catchy songs in this formula.
The Beatles had another one, The Stones had another one, and maybe two or three other bands from the 60s had this sort of "magical personality" that later inspired the modern ways of writing/playing.
The Who had one, that's for sure.
And this record is like listening to "Please, Please Me" – This is the kind of band that has something to say, but struggles with the delivery
