I often wonder how so many 70's R&B acts lasted long enough to get signed when any money from club GiGs had to be split 8-20 ways as opposed to the standard setup of just 3-5 members. I'm basically saying the more people in your band the smaller each slice of the pie is when the owner of the dive bar pays you. it's one of the reasons I migrated from alternative to an alternative rock influenced version of DnB no band any gigs I get I don't have to split up the proceeds.
