Anyone catch Skinamarink? It overstays its welcome quite a bit and has weirdly expository dialogue for the form, but otherwise I thought it was great. Definitely a lot of notes of James Benning, Lynch, and Michael Snow (who died a few weeks before it hit the screens) throughout. The ending and a few other scenes of barely visible faces and doorways were revolutionary and extremely effective. Above all it's worth seeing just to see the angry bros walk out of the theatre. Excited to see what the director does next and what this influences, this is a brand of horror that's been pretty much untapped until now.

This movie has me interested - thinking about watching it with my wife who's a big baby with horror movies - I see that the movie revolves around two kids, there's no weird sexual stuff is there? That **** is a no go for her. Assuming there's not, I could probably convince her to watch it with me.
