Steps:
Connect Focusrite Scarlett Solo:
Connect your Focusrite Scarlett Solo to your computer via USB.
Connect your semi-acoustic guitar to the "Instrument" input on the Scarlett Solo using a standard 1/4" instrument cable.
Connect USB Mic:
Connect your Behringer C1-U USB mic directly to your computer.
Open DAW:
Open your preferred Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) on your computer. Popular choices include Audacity, Reaper, Ableton Live, or others.
Configure DAW for Scarlett Solo:
In your DAW, select the Focusrite Scarlett Solo as your audio input and output device.
Create Separate Tracks:
Create two separate tracks in your DAW—one for the USB mic and one for the guitar.
Assign Inputs:
Assign the USB mic to one track by selecting its corresponding input.
Assign the guitar input to the other track.
Adjust Levels:
Adjust input levels for each track to ensure a balanced mix. You can do this on the Scarlett Solo interface or within your DAW.
Monitor and Record:
Arm both tracks for recording.
Monitor the input levels and start recording.
Editing:
After recording, you can edit and mix the two tracks separately.
