The search has come to an end after 7 years. After I told you in my previous post that I was able to identify the song from a TV series, my search for the cover version began. Through the platform Discogs, an online database for discographies, I managed to find a band called "Funky Connection" that covered the song in 1975.

However, there is no audio sample of this version on the internet, not even on YouTube, so this seems to be really rare. So, I took a chance and ordered the single for €1, and it arrived this morning. And what can I say - IT´S THE SONG!!!!. After seven years, the search is over, and I'm over the moon.
