Among other reasons, as bookmarks. We all get bombarded with so many headlines on our social media feeds that it's impossible to register the stories in your mind for more than 20 seconds. Pasting the link makes me take notice.
I enjoy the British stuff especially because there it's very clear that they are well past peak trans and it's only going to fade. In Canada it's very different. We are going to sterilize thousands upon thousands of confused kids before people come to their senses.
