I never got to meet Billy but a friend of mine was married to one of his sisters. But even before I became friends with Biily's brother-in-law, I always enjoyed the Amazing Rhythm Aces. It was country music frequently done tongue-in-cheek, or with the type of humor not always associated with country acts. Their best known song is Third Rate Romance. My sympathy to all of Billy's family and friends.
