Funny you should bring that subject up. My next entry was going to be about West Coast 60's surf rock, featuring Dick Dale, Jerry Cole, The Ventures, and various others from the genre. I wasn't planning on featuring any surf flicks, but Dick Dale does make an appearance in the one you posted so it would all fit together quite nicely.

And a local TV station has been running 60's surf movie mini-marathons on some recent Saturdays over the past month or so... and I have actually watched a couple... or maybe three?
