I was late to the party on this band. The pre-Epic Records Modest Mouse used to play small clubs in my town but I wasn't into their music then. Oh well. I like their earlier stuff the best but some of the later stuff has merit. This was the first song of theirs I ever heard. It's still my favorite by them:
