the germs- great band, most of the lyrics are really well written, in my opinion (i.e. media blitz).
the adolescents-another awesome hardcore punk band. they've managed to stay around for awhile without a) having a dead lead singer or b) sucking. ive always liked most of the guitar riffs in their songs, as well.
streetlight manifesto- catchy, fast, up-beat (mostly) songs. well-written lyrics, and thomas K is one of my favorite vocalists. and lets face it....ska is ****ing sweet period.
