wanaka is such a sick town to live in, but we're getting fucking raped up the ass with the cost of rent. The owners of houses apparently love screwing over people coming in for the season, so the cheapest house we've been able to find is $700 a week for a 3 bedroom house. ****ing rediculous. Its sad as hell. I hate feeling like I'm being screwed over, and I hate feeling like a chump for having to pay such rediculous rent, but it could be the only house in town that we can get, and i dont want to have to live in a trailer park for the winter. it'd be too fucking cold. damnit, living on your own is great, but finding a place to live in a very popular ski town is a bitch. i've had to resort to being almost entirely vegetarian as well, cause veges and fruit are the cheapest food available here. gah, anyone feel like hypnotising the homeowner to not fuck us in the ass with rediculously unreasonable renting costs?
