Default A word on stripes

I've read the post on page two and what I read distrubes me.

First of all, many of the posts concerned themselves with the lack of talent on the part of Meg White. To quote jack "she never set out to be neal peart". Shes there to fit the minimalist style, just enough to work.

Secondly, as I'e said in another post, if talent equalled popularity, then Dream Theater, Yes, Rush, Chicago, and Jethro Tull would be the most popular bands on this board. As it stand I've seen no one mention them mostly because 90% of Prog sucks, and I think the only tolerable ones on that list are rush and DT.

Third, To the moron who said that two people don't "look good" as in the asthetic pleasure of watching a band was low, how old are you 10? Since when does watching a band make the show good. I have seen them in concert and they were louder than most bands I've come into contact with.

Considering I've seen what most of your first CD's were (and they were, at best 5 years ago for most of them) most of you can't tell me what makes a good concert.
