If I didn't allow for others' views then why would I bother replying at all? If you knew anything about me you would know that I love to argue. In which case means that I love to argue either side of any debate.
And if you knew my post was an opinion then why on Earth would you say the amazingly hypocritical statement in the subsequent sentence?
If I spoke as if everything I said was fact I would say something like this:
OMG LOLZ YOU'RE WRONG I'M RIGHT COS...YEAH YOU'RE WRONG I'M THE BEST I RULEEE,
instead of explaining my opinion in a matter-of-fact-way (which you have mistaken as arrogance) with humour embedded.
