Keep the girlfriend.
And I think it would be better for a band to play at smaller venues in front of an audience that geuninely likes them. Rather than play at the bigger venues in front of an audience they may have one or two favorite songs by you.
It makes the job more worthwhile.
PS: if your girlfriend is hot then definitely keep her. But if she's hot and you're not big on looks, then . . . still keep her. But only if she makes you happy.
