I am a bass player so I have a natural inkling to amazing bass players. My favourite is Billy Sheehan. I love his Melodic sense on Bass which I tend to play (not slap influenced to be honest!) and his to handed tapping is immense!
Guitar players I love are Hendrix (the originator, the innovator!), Clapton (all about his blues man!), James Dean Bradfield (underated, good rythym player, syncopated chords etc...) and Zakk Wylde (just pure ballsy!). I love loads more but these are my main influences.
