Cubase, an audio-technica PRO22a dynamic mic (a stage/practise vocal mic), a YAMAHA MG10/2 mixing console (a little one, for amplifying the signal from the mic) and a guitar. I recorded the guitar down to a click first through the mic, then recorded the vocal seperate to it. Then I delete a bit at the beginning of the vocal track to account for the latency (time delay) in the system, add a bit of compression and reverb to correct for the proximity effect of the dynamic mic (you don't get room acoustics with a dynamic mic, so you have to add them) adjust the levels and the mix it down. And voila, there's our song!
