The "I'm ashamed to be an American" is so cliche and played out.
But I really am. It pisses me off that half the world absolutely hates us and labels everyone in the country according to where we live. I was never for war, I was never for Bush in the least...That asshole. I was absolutely for Gore in 2000. I'm so interested in events and happenings outside of the US while two thirds of the country worry about internal affairs. And I dont want to play it out, but I just stated that I would never use the word American while describing myself. I live near the Ambassador Bridge in Michigan and many times I've considered when I finally get my own place to move to Canada and commute. Because I REALLY hate living here.
