I agree. America seems like a great place to live. Its foreign policy does piss a lot of other countries off, but that's the government, not the people. Even if some of them voted for that government, its not really their fault if that government acts in a crap way.

I'd make sure you think that kind of opinion through. Most Americans I've met outside of the US find it surprisingly difficult to adjust to life in other countries. PARTICULARLY those who see themselves as liberals, culturally-wise types. Before anybody jumps in with 'thats a stereotype' kind of rubbish, its not a stereotype as its an observation of most Americans I've met outside of the US.
