I really think this argument between RAR and Misfits is too biased.
I mean Ethan, you support the non-stereotypical side and hang with scene kids a lot, so that formulates your opinion.
Ian, you know a lot of scene kids as well, but by judging them ALL before you meet them is being just as biased as Ethan.
I believe both of you are trying too hard to prove a point, but this argument seems exactly like arguments about Detroit I hear people bitch about everyday.
"If you see a black man walking on the street and he's wearing a baggy jacket and looks gangster then he will shoot you".
That's the exact same thing as the "scene" argument, except racism is a larger scale.
Overall, I don't think it really matters.
You're both entitled to your opinions.
And either way, if Ian shows "scene-kids" a hard time and Ethan shows them some comfort, it all works out on this site.
