must be passionate about their music for one thing. Like you should be able to sense that they're a musician even if they're not talking about music.
I guess you shuold be able to put on a good sho as well. This is for a lot of reasons.
There are so many bands that can make a good studio track but come time to do a live performance they sound like crap. you shouldn't have to need a a computer to alter your voice or have need to have a comp to change the order of the chords you play and stuff like that.

Should be down to earth and should not be in the music industry for the money. I say this because once you start to make music solely for the money you're selling you art and then it changes everything.

Should be down to earth. Although this isn't as nimportant as the first two items mentioned.

Should be competitive. this is of some importance since my ideal musician should want to stand out (not because of their image) but because their talent exceeds that of all tohers of their genre or era or something along those lines.
