I got the inspiration from another thread in this forum site. Heres what you do:

Post the bands you love, but haven't had the chance to see live, then everyone can branch from that and in addition, mention if they have seen any of the bands posted in the above post. Then everyone can mingle with one another...etc. I thought it would be a good chance to talk about what we share in common.
