That's not a flaw, that's just you looking for an easy way out of that particular argument. If you ever did well in the business, would you prefer making the music and working another job 24/7, or would you like enough money to make music your life? You act like this is rocket science here, since our point is fairly simple.
EDIT: And no I don't think you should blow all your cash on music.
I'm just saying to buy it if you like it, when you can afford to.
