And I don't support tortures being punished because of psycholopgical performed on people in the past. Studies show that people in positions will more often than not abuse that power and do some rather sick and twisted things. look up Philip Zimbardo's experiment on guards and prisoners.
I think military personnel should undergo strict training and screening for mental health issues as a way of preventing soldiers fromt torturing other people. Resort to pavlov if necessary
