Lo, la, los, and las literally mean it or those. Depending on the context

its actually "estoy comiendo el queso" or "lo estoy comenido" and you cant attach a DOP to the end of a conjugated verb.
and "lo" or "la" means "it" or "he" or "she" or the formal form of you (usted).
"las" or "los" means "them"
"those" is actually "eses" or "esas" or "esos" or "aquellos" or "aquellas"
