The song was written by Eric and co-written by Will Jennings

The song is about the pain Mr. Clapton felt after his 4 yr old son Carter fell to his death out of his mother's condominium (53rd story) in 1991.

I beleive this song was featured on the Soundtrack of the movie Rush and it won a grammy in 93'..it was featured on his grammy award winning "unplugged" CD as well.

Its number 353 on Rolling Stones top 500 songs...

Eric stopped singing this song in 2004..due to in his words "I didnt feel the loss anymore"
