***Electronic dance based lovely folk music
2. Sunset Rubdown - Shut up! I am dreaming
***Stories told with hate'em or love vocals and great piano pieces

***If the Decemberists formed in 1974, they'd have sounded like this sooner
4. The Mountain Goats - Get Lonely
***I got lonely, I reached for Johns soothing melodies and lyrics
5. Peter Bjorn and John - Writers Block
***FUn varied and smart to boot.
6.Clispe - Hell Hath No Fury
***The best rap of the year, in probably all aspects

*** (I love the west coast, can you tell?)
