It's actually impossible to disagree with that statement, if I do it just proves your point.
I've read the first couple of pages and the author is already criticising himself. The explanations he uses to explain the lack of matter, by their very nature require matter. For instance, "consequently, light comes into existence as a result of the effects that some
electromagnetic waves and
particles cause in us." This statement is just plain wrong. We have labelled a set of electromagnetic frequencies "visible light," ie. electromagnetic waves that are detected by the eye. This is light since we say it is light. The fact that internally, we may all percieve it differently is irrelevent since we all agree it's visible light. If two people look at a red square, they will both agree they are seeing a red square, it's an incontrovertible fact. Also, notice he uses the word particles; particles are matter.
