Yes, if you don't want to talk about something probably the best thing to do is write a song about it, get your band to play that song and then get your record company to force the song down everybody's throats on the tv and radio. That IS a good way to avoid having to talk about something.
And why on earth do bands even agree to be interviewed if they plan on just sitting there and barely responding to the interviewer's questions???
