their popular because of the the 4/5 albums they've released 2 have been of the highest quality (with absolution being one of the greatest records of the last decade), one good full debut and their latest.. which, as already indicated, is their worst album. their music post-showbiz is highly original i believe, who else sounds like muse today? and dont mention queen because thats just lazy.
