I still don't think friendships are overated, it just depends who's in your life. If you're spending time with not so great people, then you're not gonna love it. But if your friends are people you can trust with anything, then you're gonna preach about how great it is. Maybe some people are just more demanding about people who they hang out with. It's not hard finding such people, it's a damn bitch finding someone intelligent that has a good sense of humor and is cool enough to be seen with me.
